At PixFusion we are committed to protecting your privacy online. Our pledge is to safeguard any personal information that you provide us, and to make every reasonable effort to use this information only as you choose.

We recognize that you may be concerned about our collection, use, and disclosure of the personally identifiable information ("Personal Information") that we collect when you use the Website and the services offered on the Website ("PixFusion.com Services"). This Privacy Policy describes the information that we collect from you, how we collect this information, and what we do with it after we collect it. By using the Website you are accepting the practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you have any questions or comments regarding this Privacy Policy, please contact us at info@pixfusion.com

Information Collected

We collect two types of information from visitors to the Website: (1) Personally Identifiable Information; and (2) Non-Personally Identifiable Information, such as your IP address or cookies.

Personally Identifiable Information

"Personally Identifiable Information" is information that identifies you personally, such as your name, address, billing and delivery information, telephone number, email address, gift recipient information, credit card information or digital media. PixFusion collects and stores the personally identifiable information that you have provided to us. Here are some examples of ways in which we may collect your personally identifiable information on the Website.

PixFusion may collect personally identifiable information online when:
  • you register to become a member of PixFusion.com or another PixFusion service
  • you use our services to store your pictures online
  • you make online purchases
  • you submit questions or comments to us
  • you request information or materials
  • you request warranty or post-warranty service and support for a PixFusion product
  • you register products online
  • you participate in online surveys
  • you participate in online promotions, premiums, sweepstakes or contests
The above list provides an example of the personally identifiable information that may be collected on the Website. If you do not want PixFusion to collect your personally identifiable information, please do not provide it to us.

Non-Personally Identifiable Information

"Non-Personally Identifiable Information" can be technical information or it can be demographic information, such as your age, gender or interests. Non-personally identifiable information does NOT identify you personally. Here are some examples of the non-personally identifiable information that is collected via the Website and a description of how this information is used:
  • Internet Protocol (IP) address -- Your IP address is a number that lets computers attached to the Internet know where to send you data -- such as the webpages you view. We use this information to deliver our webpages to you upon request, to tailor our Website to the interests of our users and to measure traffic within our Website.
  • Cookie -- A "cookie" is a small text file that may be used to collect information about your activity on the Website. For example, when someone visits a page within the Website, a cookie is placed on the user's machine (if the user accepts cookies) or is read if the user has previously visited the Website. You may set most browsers to notify you if you receive a cookie, or you may choose to block cookies with your browser, but if you do, you may not be able to take advantage of the personalized features enjoyed by other users to our Website. Some of the cookies we use may be flash cookies or Adobe cookies.
While they are harmless, they may contain Demographic Information (defined below) and depending on your browser these cookies may not normally be deleted when your cookies are deleted. Please check your browser to determine where these types of cookies are stored and how they may be deleted.
  • Web Beacons (also known as "clear gifs," "web bugs" or "pixel tags") -- "Web Beacons" are tiny graphics with a unique identifier, similar in function to cookies, and are used to allow us to count users who have visited certain pages of the Website and to help determine the effectiveness of promotional or advertising campaigns. When used in HTML-formatted email messages, web beacons can tell the sender whether and when the email has been opened. In contrast to cookies, which are stored on a user's computer hard drive, web beacons are embedded invisibly on web pages.
  • Demographic Information -- "Demographic Information" may be your gender, age, zip code and interests, which you voluntarily provide to us on the Website. We use this information to provide you with personalized services and to analyze trends to ensure the information provided by the Website meets your needs.
We collect the above non-personally identifiable information from all visitors to our Website. If you do not want PixFusion to have access to this information, please do not visit our Website.

Children's Policy

Protecting the online privacy of children is especially important, and those under the age of 13 are protected by federal law. For that reason, PixFusion does not knowingly permit children under the age of 13 to become registered members of our sites, or to buy goods and services on our sites, without verifiable parental consent. PixFusion does not knowingly collect or solicit personal information about children under 13, except with their parent's express consent.
If we ever include children under the age of 13 as part of our intended site audience, those specific web pages will, in accordance with the provisions of the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), be clearly identified and provide an explicit privacy notice; and we will provide processes to obtain parental approval, provide access to information and allow parents to request removal of their children's personal information.
PixFusion encourages parents and guardians to spend time with their children online and to participate in their interactive activities and interests. For more information on tips on protecting children's privacy online, we suggest you check out the FTC's site: http://www.ftc.gov/bcp/edu/pubs/consumer/tech/tec08.shtm
