Rudy Awards - Named in honor of the irrepressible Rudolf Maschke, who along with Ed Wagner founded Photo Industry Reporter, the Rudy Awards are bestowed to products exhibited at the Photo Marketing Association trade show that our writers judge to be ingenious, fascinating or possessing a certain undefinable off-the-wall quality. In short when you see something unusual at PMA and say to yourself, “Why didn’t I think of that?” or better yet, “I wouldn’t have thought of that in a million years!” you’re probably ogling at a Rudy Awards contender.
